Innerspace Technology, Inc. (ITI) was incorporated in 1969 to engage in development of shipboard and underwater instruments and systems to support the hydrographer, oceanographer, researcher, engineer, geophysicist, and surveyor. ITI’s clients include commercial, governmental and academic organizations throughout the world. An inventory is maintained of catalog items, and specialized equipment is developed and manufactured to customers specifications. Whether the requirement is for a single instrument, or for a complete integrated system or survey ready boat, customer assistance is always available.
ITI’s engineering and technical sales personnel have about 100 years of combined experience in the design, manufacture, integration, and use of marine instruments and systems. Emphasis is placed on instruments and complete systems for the near shore environment and on precision depth sounding products for most applications from one foot of water to full ocean depth. A pioneer in the development of high resolution thermal printing for depth sounding, ITI is recognized as a leader in the manufacture of survey quality precision depth sounders, and was the first company to market a thermal printing sounder beginning in 1982.
ITI is a manufacturer of hydrographic instruments and systems but does not bid on hydrographic surveys. ITI does provide equipment, installation and training to companies wishing to develop a hydrographic surveying capability or to modernize and/or expand an existing capability. Initially, we can do everything; lease or sell the entire system, or integrate the customer’s GPS and choice of software into the system, and arrange expert assistance and training (either on an actual survey or otherwise). ITI takes systems responsibility which allows the customer to focus on actual data collection, data processing and their clients’ needs.
Special requirements are no problem. ITI has an on premises machine shop, electronic/electromechanical assembly, engineering and programming capabilities.
ITI will continue to accurately present its products, provide personalized customer service and develop high quality practical products to meet the challenges of the “INNERSPACE” environment.
