INSTRUMENT REPAIR SERVICE

Prior to the start of your next surveying season, make an appointment now to send your Innerspace Model 448 and/or 449SF Thermal Depth Sounder Recorder(s) to our facility for a well deserved preventative maintenance service.

Choose from the two services offered below. Complete the attached information sheet and return it to Innerspace either by fax or by mail. If it is more convenient to make the appointment by phone, please have the information on the following sheet available and contact Stephen Holowacz or Rick Easson at 201-447-0398.

 Your 448 or 449 will be inspected and tested upon arrival to our shop to check for major problems such as defective printhead, mechanical damage or water damage, etc. A repair estimate will be provided prior to performing the Maintenance 1 or 2 service.

Maintenance Service #1 -10 day turn around

1. Perform truncated Factory Acceptance Test (F.A.T.) 21 step diagnostic and a 12 step        mechanical and cleaning process (see attached).
2. Minor repairs
3. Clean and adjust Print Head assembly
4. Clean interior and exterior of unit
5. Touch-up painting if required
6. 3 month warranty- parts only

Maintenance Service #2 -10 day turn around

1. Disassemble unit
2. Perform a FULL Factory Approved Test (F.A.T.) 50 step diagnostic and a 12 step mechanical and cleaning process. (see attached)
3. Repairs, tests, repair and/or replace parts. (Print Head replacement not included).
4. Clean and adjust Print Head.
5. Clean interior and exterior of the unit.
6. Repaint case, if required
7. 6 months warranty – parts and labor

All shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer

Inspect Case for Damage
Water Protection, inspect gaskets for dryness or cracks. Replace if required
Inspect Printer Mechanism
Clean Print Head
Inspect all Pulleys, Belts & Bearings. Replace if required
Paint touch up
Inspect Internal Connectors, Wires & Ribbons. Replace if required
Inspect all Labels
Inspect if the Sounder has Special Options, e.g.; Heave comp. Shallow Water
Inspect and repair (if required) all cables
Inspect all plug in PC boards
Inspect neoprene paper drive rollers
Install factory upgrades, if required
Install clutch modification, if required
